Thousands of Critically Ill and Injured Patients Reportedly Await Medical Care
The Gaza Health Ministry says that 300 people have died due to a lack of access to medical treatment as healthcare services continue to face severe strain in the territory.
According to the ministry, around 15,000 people who are seriously injured or critically ill remain on waiting lists for urgently needed medical care. The reported shortages have been linked to ongoing disruptions affecting hospitals, medical supplies, and access to treatment.
The figures released by the ministry could not be independently verified at the time of reporting. Humanitarian organizations have repeatedly warned about the worsening healthcare situation in Gaza and have called for increased access to medical assistance.
The continuing conflict has placed significant pressure on the territory's healthcare system, leaving many patients without timely treatment and raising concerns over the growing humanitarian crisis.
